Thanks for your email. I was very glad to hear from you.
I’d be happy to answer your questions! One of the greatest Russian explorers was Nikolay Przhevalsky, who travelled through Central Asia and discovered many new species of animals. Another well-known explorer was Semyon Dezhnev, who explored Siberia and was the first European to sail through the Bering Strait — 80 years before Vitus Bering did! But the explorer I admire most is Ivan Krusenstern — he led the first Russian expedition to sail around the world, and I admire the courage and leadership it must have taken to complete such a dangerous journey.
Your trip to a national park sounds exciting! Who are you going there with? How long will your trip be? What are you most looking forward to on your trip?
