The aim of my project is to find out what visitors to Zetland like the most about the country. As part of my project, I have found a table with some results of a relevant survey, and in this essay, I will describe the data and express my opinion on the subject of the project.
According to the table, “Ecotourism routes” (29%) tops the list of the provided choices the respondents consider to be the most appealing as a visitor, whereas “Summer arts festivals” ranks the lowest, at 8%. The other choices included in the survey are “Incredible landscapes”, “Historic sites” and “Museums and galleries” at 24%, 20% and 19%, respectively.
Predictably, the difference between “Historic sites” and “Museums and galleries” is very small: the former is only 1% higher than the latter. I think this is because the nature of these tourist spots is very similar.
Whatever tourist spot is chosen a traveller can face a problem of long queues to get a ticket at a destination point. The best way to solve this problem is to book a ticket on-line in advance.
In conclusion, I believe travelling is very important in our lives, because it broadens our horizons and outlooks on life via learning about new places and their culture and traditions. Moreover, it is a very good recreational activity.
